Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 7, 2012 at the Gorder Jensen Funeral Chapel in Choteau, Mt for Rheannon Marie Whetham, age 24, of Great Falls, MT who died Friday, June 29th at her home in Great Falls from accidental drowning.   Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home.

Rheannon was born May 5, 1988 in Great Falls, MT, the daughter of John Whetham and Tammy Mathews.  She was raised in the Choteau and Dupuyer area and was a CNA at The Rainbow in Great Falls, MT.  She was married  by common-law to Joshua Hegan on a and he preceded her in death.  She was married by common law to Sam Atkins.

Rheannon especially  enjoyed raising her children, Joshua and Raylene and family activities as well as her music. She also enjoyed swimming, camping and fishing, but her children were the main part of her life and they brought her the happiest times of her life..

She is survived y her Father: John Whetham of Big Sandy, MT; her mother: Tammy Mathews of Pendroy, MT; her common law husband, Sam Atkins of Great Falls, children: Joshua Hagen and Raylene Atkins, both of Great Falls;  2 sisters: Nikki Whetham of Havre, MT and Cynimon Mathews of Augusta, MT; her maternal grandmother, Donna Hennesen of Augusta, MT and her paternal grandfather, Steve Johnson of Dupuyer, MT.

Rheannon was preceded in death by her first husband, Joshua Hegan,  a daughter, Arianna Hegan, her paternal grandmother: Laura Johnson, her maternal grandfather: Sonny Boy Carrier, and several aunts and uncles, including Tommy Fellers and Donald Mathews.

No words can ever express how sorry we are for your loss. Rheannon was always a pleasure to be around, she was always so nice and polite. Her children where the center of her life. She will be miss by all of us. The Hendershot family and all of the staff at The Falls Jr. Academy.

To all of Rheannon's family & friends. My deepest sympathy. What a horrible tragedy. Donna, Tammy you have endured such heartache & anguish thru out your lives yet somehow you keep moving ahead. I don't know how you do it. Even though I didn't know her it's still a shock to hear. Didn't we just mention that on FB that your kids & grandkids were keeping you young. so sorry to hear of your loss.rheannon was a wonderfull woman,a amazing mommy and had a heart of gold!! she will be very missed but never forgotten and will remain forever in our hearts! our thaughts and prayers are with you and all your amazing family in this troubling time,god bless!!

I am so sorry to hear about Rheannon. Her and Nikki both worked for me in Dupuyer.She was a wonderful person.Always laughing.Tammy and Nikki and all of the family.My prayers are with you.

Iam so saddend when I received the phone call today about Rheannon. Iam truly blessed to have known her, she was so happy and full of spirit. I will always remember all the great memories she has brought in my life. R.I.P Rheannon you will be forever missed until we meet again!
