Richard Lee Meyer passed away at home on September 22, 2018. He was born on November 1, 1970 in Havre, MT. He was the first of three children born to Frank and Charlotte Meyer. Richard grew up in Whitefish, MT. During his senior year he moved to Havre, MT.  Richard graduated high school and attended college in Havre, MT. He moved back to Kalispell, MT in 2001 where he resided until 2009. In 2009 Richard moved to Choteau, MT where he lived out his life. Richard is preceded in death by his grandmother, two grandfathers, three uncles, one aunt and three cousins. Richard is survived by his parents Frank and Charlotte Meyer of Choteau, MT, brother Joseph Meyer of Kalispell, MT, sister Jodi Meyer and her husband Robert of Kalispell, MT and Almus Casey of Choteau, MT. Along with his niece Kayla Palumbo and her family, and three nephews, Michael Kirkland and his family, Byron Kirkland and his family and Stephen Rohn. Some of Richard’s hobbies were hunting, fishing, the Atlanta Braves, Dallas Cowboys, being around family and friends, and his online game, War Commander; where he met and became friends with many people across the world. We know these people were a big part of Richard’s life, and cheering him up by just being there for him. Richard will be missed greatly.

my prayers for Richards family at this time. I do not truly have the words to express the sense of loss u all must feel. I considered Richard a good and trusted friend even tho we had never meet for I am one of the many friends he had playing WC and had the honor to call him my brother

My heart breaks for you all, as did mine when hearing of Richards' passing... I played War Commander with Richard and he was a stand up kinda guy... I as well as MANY others liked and thought A LOT of Richard.. Know each of you family members and friends are in my thoughts and Prayers.

Richard my brother i have known you for several years now through Warcommander i always found you to be a Gentleman a true friend someone you could chat too share problems with and you never complained. Even though your health was an issue not too long ago you fought through it and came back to the game the person we loved i never heard you say a bad word about anyone and i feel proud to have known you even though the great pond seperates us brother i always felt you near. Richard your going to be sadly missed by many God speed brother and may he look after you.

I knew Richard from Havre. I have lots of fond memories of late night basketball, heading out to the lake, and just hanging out. Richard was a great guy and a good friend. I wish all the best to his family and friends as they deal with this heartache. Till we meet again brother.
