Penny Kay Dowlearn, 61, of Bynum passed away April 22, 2020 suddenly at Benifis Hospital in Great Falls, Montana.
Penny was born November 7, 1958 in Phoenix, Arizona to Robert and Karen Brown. Penny attended school in the Phoenix area, attending Alhambra High School and going on to get her Graduate Equivalency Degree and entering the work force.
Penny worked for Honeywell in Phoenix for a time and was a manager of a gas station in Payson, Arizona for 5 years. Family meant the world to Penny and when her uncle and eventually her parents became ill Penny became their full time care giver, ensuring that they were happy and comfortable, all while caring for her two wonderful daughters Courtney and Whitney.
In 2006 Penny and her daughters moved to Choteau, Montana where they began new adventures in life. Penny was quite the altruist, she never met a person or animal that would not quickly become a friend. Aside from her devotion to caring for others and her family, Penny loved to read and watch movies. She also attended New Life Church where her loving spirt was put to good use.
Penny is survived by her daughters Courtney and Whitney of Bynum, Montana; Her sister Brenda Brown of Arizona; her “adopted” daughter Makala (Demetrious)Spargur – Humphfey of Great Falls, Montana ; and her grandchildren Jakary Spargur, Marcellus Humphfey and Alijah Humphfrey of Great Falls, Montana.
Penny was pre-deceased by her parents Robert and Karen Brown, her baby brother, Eddy, her favorite uncle, Ed, her Cousin Alexis and her favorite cats Truffles and Velvet.
A memorial service will tentatively take place on November 7th at 11:00 o’clock am, as a celebration of life, as that was her birthday; and family would like to celebrate that with you.
